In 2003, Graceland chose Julie Mundy to document Elvis Presley's wardrobe and his influence on twentieth century popular culture.
Mundy has written many articles for specialist music and rock 'n' roll publications, as well as assisting in research for a wide variety of organisations including BBC Television and Radio, Granada Television, Sky One, Channel 4, Sky News, GMTV and QVC. She was also responsible for a re-launching the official Elvis Presley fan club magazine in her role as editor, before moving onto her own business ventures.
Mundy has made various television appearances on the subject of Elvis Presley.
In 1999, members of Elvis' personal entourage awarded Julie with a lifetime achievement award for her work in promoting Elvis and made her an honorary member of Elvis' Memphis Mafia.
Her biography on Eddie Cochran, co-written with musician Darrel Higham, has recently been optioned for a movie.
Julie is married to bathroom designer Trevor Yeardye, and their Hertfordshire home has replica Graceland gates.
